There is something about Christmas
A Holiday Message from the Ron Meyers Christmas City Gift Show
There’s something about Christmas.
You can feel it before you ever see the first present under the tree.
It’s in the music playing in the background. The smell of something wonderful coming from the kitchen. The decorations pulled out of boxes that somehow carry a lifetime of memories.
It’s calling an old friend.
It’s watching a child’s face light up when they see Santa.
It’s laughing with your girlfriends while you shop for that perfect gift—and occasionally finding something for yourself that was definitely not on the shopping list!
Christmas has a way of reminding us of what matters.
And for more than four decades, that feeling has been at the heart of the Ron Meyers Christmas City Gift Show.
43 Years of Christmas Memories
This November, Christmas City returns to the Mississippi Coast Coliseum & Convention Center in Biloxi for our 43rd year, November 13–15, 2026.
When I think about 43 years, I don’t just think about shows.
I think about people.
I think about families who have made Christmas City an annual tradition. Mothers who first came with their daughters and now return with their granddaughters. Girlfriends who turn the weekend into their annual Christmas getaway.
And I think about the incredible entrepreneurs who arrive carrying boxes, setting up displays, and turning an empty convention center into a Christmas shopping wonderland.
Behind every booth is a person with a story.
Some have been creating their products for years. Others are taking a chance on a brand-new dream.
That’s one of my favorite things about Christmas City.
When you shop our show, you aren’t simply buying something.
You may be helping a small business owner pay the mortgage.
You may be helping a mom grow a business she started at her kitchen table.
You may be encouraging someone who finally decided, “This is the year I’m going to believe in my dream.”
That makes shopping feel a little different.
Call Your Girlfriends
Christmas shopping doesn’t have to feel like another chore on the December to-do list.
It ought to be fun.
So call your girlfriends.
Bring your mom.
Bring your daughter.
Grab somebody you haven’t spent enough time with lately.
Walk the aisles. Sample the food. Discover something you weren’t expecting. Enter to win one of our door prizes given away every five minutes. Take pictures. Laugh. Shop. Make a memory.
Because someday you probably won’t remember everything you bought.
But you’ll remember who you were with.
Shop the Magic. Find the Joy.
Those words have become very special to us:
Shop The Magic, Find The Joy.
The magic may be the decorations, the music, the gifts, the food, the fashions, or hundreds of booths waiting to be explored.
But the joy?
I think that’s something deeper.
Joy is found in people.
It’s found in traditions.
It’s found in generosity.
It’s found in slowing down long enough to appreciate the people God has placed in our lives.
And sometimes, joy is found on an ordinary November weekend when you walk through the doors of Christmas City and suddenly realize:
Christmas is almost here.
After 43 years, I still get excited about that moment.
Our vendors are getting ready.
Our Christmas City family is getting ready.
And we’re getting ready for you.
So mark your calendar for November 13–15, 2026, at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum & Convention Center in Biloxi.
Call your girlfriends and start making plans.
Christmas City is right around the corner.
And I have a feeling we’re going to make some wonderful memories together this year.
I’ll see you at Christmas City!
Ron Meyers
