Ron Meyers embodies a life of purpose and passion, driven by the grace and goodness of God. As an accomplished event producer, he has dedicated his career to following his God-given dreams and overcoming the adversities that life has presented. Through his work, Ron has not only achieved success but has also created a lasting impact on his community.
Ron’s roots trace back to Iowa, where he grew up with strong values that shaped his character. After serving five years in the Air Force, he made his home on the Gulf Coast, where he founded Ron Meyers Productions. His flagship event, the Christmas City Gift Show, has become a beloved Gulf Coast tradition, now celebrating its 42nd year and drawing together families and friends in a spirit of joy and community.
In addition to his production company, Ron operates a non-profit ministry where he hosts a podcast, inviting guests to share their powerful stories of God’s faithfulness. This platform allows him to connect with others and spread messages of hope. As of today, his podcast has been heard in 122 countries and 3,741 cities.
Family is central to Ron’s life. He and his wife, Karen, have four children and three grandchildren. Through his work, ministry, and family, Ron inspires others to embrace their journeys with faith and courage, never giving up, because life is to be enjoyed, not endured.

Christmas City is a labor of love
At Ron Meyers Productions, Christmas City is a beloved project that requires eight months of preparation. Our dedicated office staff diligently searches for and invites a wide range of vendors who provide high-quality products and services. Meanwhile, our floor staff takes pride in supporting the vendors and ensuring that all exhibit areas are clean and safe for shoppers.
In response to COVID-19 regulations, we updated the layout of Christmas City in 2020 to include wider aisles. This change has since become a standard feature of our event, offering guests a more comfortable and enjoyable shopping experience.
Creating memories
Christmas City has become a beloved family tradition for many of our guests. It’s heartwarming to see three generations—mothers, grandmothers, and grandchildren—coming together to enjoy our event. Our guests appreciate the family atmosphere and cherish the memories they create with their loved ones at Christmas City each year.
Shoppers Paradise
2016 Christmas City introduced a new event called Shoppers Paradise on Friday nights. This event is exclusively for adults and includes:
- Live music.
- A silent auction to support a local charity.
- The option to purchase wine and beer while shopping.
- Door Prizes every fifteen minutes
It has become a popular choice for guests who work during the day, with tickets limited to 2,500 and often selling out quickly.
Santa’s arrival on the Coast
Christmas City opens its doors each year with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Santa himself. Then, on Saturday mornings, kids can enjoy breakfast with Santa and his pals. There’s also a Santa Land section where children can snap a photo with Santa, compose a letter to him, and craft a Christmas ornament to keep as a memento of their visit to Christmas City.
The gift that keeps giving, Love!
Our non-profit division, Ron Meyers Ministries, is funded by Christmas City. With the support of our vendors and customers, we are able to make donations to various Christian rehabilitation centers, organizations fighting against human trafficking, and missions, as well as create podcasts and public service announcements that promote the love of Christ. Additionally, our funding supports our radio show and podcast called “Get the Hell Out of Your Life,” where Ron interviews individuals who share their inspiring stories of God’s amazing grace.
